Hi Parents,
We had a fun week in Kindergarten with all the "Dash" activities! We had a "Disco Dance Party" first thing Monday morning followed by a "Fall Center Celebration". (Thanks to all the parents that came and provided the craft and games for us). On Tuesday, we went to Chimney Springs Park. It was a beautiful day and the students had a blast. (Another shout out to the moms that came with us to help chaperone). Wednesday, we had "sno cones" for posting the fastest time in Kindergarten during the Tiger Dash. Today, we watched as Dr. Patterson, Mrs. Keesling and Mrs. DeMeester became human sundaes. It was a successful fundraiser! Thank you for all of your support, Tritt is the best!!! Next week, we will learn facts about Native Americans and Pilgrims and how they contributed to the first Thanksgiving. We will write about them in our writing journals. We are really working hard on remembering to capitalize the first letter in our sentences and put a punctuation mark at the end. In Math, we are continuing to compare numbers using the words more, less and equal to. We are also working on writing the numbers 1-20 correctly when labeling a set.
